Ms. Gloria Hailey-McLean joined Flag Branch Missionary Baptist church under the leadership of the late Dr. Ezekiel H. Martin and was baptized in 1963. Gloria served and attended FBMBC faithfully until she relocated to NYC in 1977.
Gloria is the proud daughter of our own Sis. Barbara Robinson who is a faithful member of the church and has been so for many years. She is the eldest of her five siblings. She is also the mother of one son and grandmother to one grandchild.
While in NYC, Gloria attended and later joined Friendly Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, Inc. in 1980. While there she served as a member of the Pastor Aide Committee, the Gospel Choir and the Trustee Board. She also served as the Financial Secretary. When visiting here in NC, Gloria would come and visit us here at Flag Branch when she had the chance which she has always considered home. Since returning to Monroe in 2022, Gloria is and has been a very active part of our Christian community and fellowship.
By becoming a member of FBMBC, Gloria is looking to improve her knowledge of God’s Word to increase her faith and spiritual development through biblical teaching and preaching and fellowship with other believers. By this she hopes to continue to mature and become more Christ-like in character. Her desire is to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ.
Pastor’s Thoughts:
As Pastor of FBMBC, I hope you will join me in voting to admit Gloria into our Christian fellowship of believers. I knew Gloria before she relocated to NYC. She was valuable to Flag Branch then and she has proven to be valuable and dedicated now. I am proud and pleased with her patience and commitment to the church since she returned.
Please go by and let her know if you support her membership, make sure she knows who you are and don’t forget to cast your vote for her.
